A sneak peek into ‘Chance Pe Dance’

‘Chance Pe Dance’ is the forthcoming film from director Ken Ghosh being made under the banner of UTV Motion pictures. The film was earlier titled ‘Star’ and ‘Yahoo’ before getting its final title. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’ Souza in the lead roles.

The movie is based on story of a young and talented Sameer who is struggling to get a break in the industry and in the due course he meets Tina who is a choreographer.

Sameer starts living in his old car when he is thrown out of his house as he is unable to pay the rent. He starts teaching dance in a school to young kids. Unfortunately, where he hates kids, these kids hate dancing.

However, slowly Sam not only emotionally bonds with the kids, but also helps them win a prestigious inter-school dance competition and gets their confidence back. Tina is always his support who also helps him enter the reality talent hunt, where he wins and finally becomes a superstar.

‘Life Partner’ is a comedy based on love and marriage

Produced by Abbas Mastaan and directed by Rumy Jaffrey, the forthcoming flick ‘Life Partner’ is all about love and marriage. The film stars Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Genelia D’Souza, Tusshar Kapoor, and Prachi Desai. The music for the film is by Pritam and the lyrics have been penned down by Javed Akhtar.

‘Life Partner’ is about the struggle in marriage where Karan (Fardeen Khan) and Sanjana (Genelia D’Souza) go in for love marriage and Bhavesh (Tusshar Kapoor), and his life partner, Prachi (Prachi Desai) struggle to make their arranged marriage successful.

Govinda plays Jeet who is an accomplished divorce lawyer who does not believe in the institution of marriage and is often responsible for his getting his clients divorced. The movie promises to give a rib tickling three hour entertainment.

Genelia D’Souza is on cloud nine these days. The newcomer is overwhelmed at the response and praise she has received for her performance and beauty in her first hit film. The best compliment was the one which she received from Big B himself which she got through a card and bouquet from him. “I was taken by surprise when I saw a beautiful bouquet waiting for me at home. It was from Mr Bachchan, with a best wishes card attached to it. He was also there at the premiere of Jaane Tu… and wished me good luck. It is a great feeling to get such encouraging compliments from a person of his stature,” says Genelia.

She is also being offered a number of endorsements from advertising companies, which want her to be the face of their products - thanks to her fresh looks. Contrary to the buzz that Genelia is asking for an exorbitant price, Genelia says, “I am still a newcomer and not in a position to quote a heavy price.”

The bubbly Genelia D`Souza debuted opposite Riteish Deshmukh in Tujhe Meri Kasam and was later seen with him in the comic-caper Masti. She is now back with a bang in Bollywood and would first be seen alongside Akshaye Khanna in the family entertainer Mere Baap Pehle Aap.
