Apsara Film Producers Guild Awards chose and Katrina Kaif as their ARY Style Icon and ARY Style Diva on the basis of voting from Pakistan. The point that makes this award special is that this is the only award given by the industry and is completely non-commercial. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex on March 30.
Sabbas Joseph, the director of Wizcraft International Entertainment said, “This was the first time at any Indian film awards that two categories were reserved for Pakistan. The voting was done by people from Pakistan’s film and television industry.”
