fter Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta has pulled out of the Bachchan’s Unforgettable Tour. The actress has cited a bad knee as the reason.
“I have injured my knee and have been asked by the doctors not to strain it further. Since I am also doing a big action film this year, going on the tour for three months will only aggravate my injury. So unfortunately and regretfully I have had to withdraw from the Unforgettable Tour,” says the actress.
The film in question is Blue which also stars Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt and is said to be action packed. In fact the actress has been in training for the film since December of last year in preparation for the film.
However, many whispers within Bollywood suggest that it’s not just a bad knee that is keeping the actress out of action.
“Her career has taken a massive upswing. She is being offered big roles by big banners and she feels being out for over three months will hamper her situation. And she has therefore decided to play it safe and bow out of the show,” says a close friend.
Also with Aishwarya and Bipasha also a part of the line up we guess Lara doesn’t want to be play third fiddle!
