Salman Khan as Veer is hoping he could give competition to Akbar, Asoka and Mangal Pandey. What more… he is going to be his macho best for the much hyped flick.It is reported that Salman’s role will be that of a merciless thug in the period 1820 to 1930s, during the British Raj.
A news daily even quoted a source as saying, “Salman plays the title role of Veer in the film. He’s a Robin Hood of sorts, who robs the British officers and helps the poor. Salman has watched Mel Gibson’s The Patriot and was quite impressed with the gun battle scenes. He wants to do the same with Veer.”
I could’nt stop imagining about his first attempt to do a historical film - remember Suryavanshi?
